This Indian Printing Woodblock was selected for it’s incredibly unique detailing and sculptural form. The base of the block has been meticulously carved by skilled artisans, achieving an intricate punched pattern, which would have been used to stamp fabric.
The cut-out detailing on the side of this block is what makes this block in particular incredibly unique, adding an additional sculptural dimension when placed on a shelf or mantel. These blocks are typically crafted from high-quality wood, such as teak, rosewood, or mango wood, known for their durability and fine grain texture.
